I harvested my pumpkins and have set them up around the building with grape vine wreaths and they look great. The mornings are cool and the afternoons are warm, the grapes love it! The brix is between 18-20 with some at 21, yea! This means that they are getting sweet and are ready to start picking, I am offering a u-pick experience. Bring your buckets and flower clippers and pick some organic grapes to make your own wine or jelly and syrup. My mother and I have been busy starting to make juice for jelly and syrup and the first jars of jelly and syrup are ready.
This week fresh from the kitchen are: Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie and Strawberry & Oat Scones.
This week fresh from the vineyard are Cabernet Foch grapes u-pick $1.00 lb, Apple Jelly, Grape Jelly, Pear Jelly, Apple-Blueberry Jelly, Caramel Apple Syrup and Grape Syrup.
